We warmly invite you to attend our Progress Day on Thursday 26th September 2019 between 11:00am – 6.:00pm.

A level and BTEC success for students at Ark St Alban’s Academy!

Ark St Alban's is celebrating its fantastic A level and BTEC results as the number of students achieving the top grades rose yet again.

The number of students who achieved at least three A*-C grades in A level qualifications is 64%.

82% students achieved our best ever three A*-C grades including equivalents.

We are very proud of all our students, and some individuals have really shone this year:

  • Student Nasrin achieved an impressive A* in Sociology, and A grades in Mathematics and Religious Studies to secure her place to read Policy, Politics and Economics at the University of Birmingham.
  • Ashna achieved an A* in Sociology, an A in Geography, and a B in Psychology, securing her place to read Psychology at the University of Birmingham.
  • Hussain was awarded a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business Studies achieving Distinction*, Distinction*, Distinction and has secured his place to read Accounting and Finance at the University of Birmingham.
  • Nuseyba was awared a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science achieving Distinction*, Distinction*, Distinction and has secured her univeristy place to read English and Creative Writing at Coventry University.

Jude Roberts Head of Sixth Form said:

“I’m delighted with these results which are testament to students and teachers hard work. We are a small Sixth Form where teachers know learners really well, meaning they get the individual support they need to be successful. We look forward to our new cohort of Year 12 joining us in September and enrolling with us on GCSE results day.
