New Sixth Form Building

Plans for the new Ark St Alban’s Academy Sixth Form building have now been submitted. Building is due to start in June 2020, with the opening of the new block scheduled for September 2021. The Sixth Form centre will have its own study area, social spaces and canteen, as well as state-of-the-art science laboratories, IT suites and a brand new lecture theatre to hold 200 pupils. Overall, this will increase the number of students that the Sixth Form can hold from 160, its current capacity, to 270 by 2021-22.
