Sixth Form results success

Tuesday 18 August 2020

During these uncertain times Ark St Alban’s Academy is pleased to congratulate all Year 13 students on achieving an excellent set of results.  Despite recent challenges and frustrations associated with grading it is now clear that our students have done amazingly well with top university offers across a range of subject areas.

Mr Dalton, Principal, said “I am incredibly proud of our A-Level and BTEC students, all of whom have worked hard, and have upheld our values of discipline, integrity and belief throughout their time at Ark St Alban’s Academy.  These are a great set of results and destinations for a group of young people that worked so hard and then had the summer exams cancelled.  Their spirit and bravery throughout this unprecedented and difficult year has shone brightly and it will continue to do so as these inspiring young people take their next steps on to higher education and the careers of their choice over the coming months.”

In recent years the results at the Ark St Alban’s Sixth Form have gone from strength to strength. A sixth form which started as 19 students has grown into one of 180 with more than 250 applicants for Year 12 places in September 2020. Students appreciate our values, our academic success, and the support they receive that ensures they do their best.

Well done to the entire sixth form team and to all the students, parents and teaching staff who have worked tirelessly together.
