Sixth Form students' successful applications to Sutton Trust and Sir Doug Ellie Pathways!

 

Congratulations to our students that have been successful applicants on this year’s Sutton Trust Pathways to Law Programme and Sir Doug Ellis Pathways to Health Programme.

An overview of what the Sutton Trust Pathways offer:

It is a completely free two-year programmes that introduce talented Year 12 students from less privileged backgrounds to.

Run in collaboration with The University of Warwick, pathways looks to help students develop the skills you'll need to navigate higher education and the workplace.

 

The programme includes:

 

  • A programme of after-school and weekend events
  • A work experience placement with a leading organisation in the field
  • The chance to attend a summer residential packed with talks, skills sessions and workshops

 

An overview of what the Sir Doug Ellis Pathways offer:

Pathway to Healthcare is a completely free two year programme and is open to students in Year 12 who have the potential to enter higher education, are considering a degree in medicine or healthcare courses and who would benefit from additional support throughout the university application process.

The programme includes:

  • Students will have access to a wide range of services and events to support their applications to university such as subject taster days, revision Boot Camps and work experience support.
  • Students will meet various medicine and healthcare experts to help them decide on their future career paths.
  • 84% of students on the most recent cohort have applied to study medicine or healthcare related courses at university.
