Recognition of Achievement
We are committed to recognising and celebrating the achievements and efforts of our students.
This recognition happens in a variety of ways, ranging from a quiet word of praise and appreciation in the classroom or corridor, to public praise given in celebratory assemblies or via postcards and letters home.
Spontaneous ‘treats’ and ‘surprise’ events also feature highly in the lives of our students as we foster a culture that doesn’t ‘train children’ to behave because they will get a reward, but instead that good things happen when you do the right thing.
We instil the belief that we should do the right thing simply because it is right, not because someone is watching or you wish to be rewarded.
