Why work for us?
"As the founding Principal of Ark St Alban’s Academy I am very proud to be continuing the work begun in 1871 when the Pollock brothers opened the first St Alban’s School to meet the educational needs of young people living in the heart of this great industrial city."

Principal
Why work at Ark St. Alban's Academy?
Since opening in 2009, the school has developed strongly and achieved rapid success. In 2011 it was rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. In 2014 65% of students gained at least 5 A*-C grades including English and maths. In January 2013, we moved into an iconic, award-winning new building. This is a unique opportunity for to join an outstanding school making a difference in the local community.
