Winvic workplace visit
Our Career Ready Programme pupils in Year 12 attended a workplace visit at Winvic in Birmingham City Centre on Monday 03rd July 2023. This visit focused on building the necessary employability skills that will equip pupils for future success. Pupils spoke to current apprentices at the organisation and found out about their individual experiences which gave pupils further insight to what a future in this organisation could be like for themselves. Pupils got an overview of Winvic Kent Street Baths, an explanation of a project lifecycle then went through the plethora of careers in construction and the different educational pathways. Pupils were fortunate to be given a site tour of Kent Street Baths. This event will support their next steps in life with their career decision making.
