National Careers Week!

In recognition of National Careers Week, we welcomed a group of parents to a special coffee morning where we explored all things careers. Our guests had the opportunity to hear valuable information about their child’s next steps and learn how best to support them in making informed decisions for the future. It was an incredibly informative and engaging session.

To mark the week further, we have also created a fantastic careers display in our atrium, showcasing the wide range of career pathways available. This eye‑catching display has been very well received by our pupils and is already sparking thoughtful, enthusiastic conversations about their future aspirations. It has been wonderful to see their curiosity grow and to hear such positive discussions taking place.

While this coffee morning and display have been real highlights, they are just a small part of the extensive work happening behind the scenes. Throughout the year, we continue to provide our pupils with rich and meaningful opportunities, including workplace visits, workshop sessions, assemblies, and many more initiatives designed to broaden their horizons and support their journeys toward bright and ambitious futures.

As part of Character and exploring the big question 'Where am I going next?' pupils are allowed to meaningfully engage with employers and apprenticeship providers so they can make well-informed decisions about their futures.
