On 16th May Wiser Futures in collaboration with Softcat spoke to some of our year 13 pupils about apprenticeships they have available
Wiser Futures works in collaboration with Softcat, a leading provider of IT infrastructure which is ranked as a top apprentice employer.
Offering Apprenticeships in Sales, Business and Technical Services, Softcat hosts a whole range of opportunities that can kick-start pupils’ future careers.
On Tuesday 16th May 2023, pupils in year 13 participated in an apprenticeship workshop.
There were two representatives that came to speak to our pupils about the apprenticeships they have available and how to best prepare for the application process, sharing tips on the necessary skills needed that employers look for.
It was great to hear from a previous Softcat apprentice about their individual pathway, and how far they have developed from joining Softcat.
We were also fortunate to hear from someone who used to attend one of our Ark schools (Ark Globe Academy in London), she shared her experience about going the standard route to university and now she works for Wiser Futures. Each shared experience was incredibly impactful and has given our pupils insightful information about their own futures and making an informed decision.
