This week, our Year 13 students marked a major milestone: the successful completion of the Career Ready 12-month programme, culminating in their final mentoring session and a celebration of their achievements.

The programme has been an incredible journey designed to prepare students for the world of work and higher education. Over the past year, each student was paired with a professional mentor, meeting one-to-one every month to receive guidance, support, and real-world insights. In addition, they participated in workplace visits, masterclasses focused on employability skills, and completed a four-week paid internship, giving them invaluable hands-on experience.

These opportunities have helped students build confidence, develop professional networks, and gain practical skills that will serve them well in their future careers.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to:

  • All the mentors who generously shared their time and expertise.
  • Caroline Emery, our dedicated programme coordinator, for her outstanding leadership and support.
  • Career Ready, for partnering with us to deliver such a transformative experience for our students.

Congratulations to our Year 13 cohort for embracing every challenge and making the most of this opportunity. We are proud of your achievements and excited to see what you accomplish next!
