Year 13 pupils who participated in the Career Ready Programme had their final session, where they received certificates for completing the programme. The pupils’ mentors were invited to celebrate their mentees' success. During this final mentoring session, we held a condensed speed networking event, followed by speeches reflecting on their experiences in the programme.
Pupils involved in this unique programme benefit from monthly one-on-one meetings with their mentors, who support their overall career and employability development. In addition to this professional mentorship, pupils have the opportunity to participate in workplace visits, masterclasses, and a four-week paid internship with a prestigious organisation. This may also include a residential stay at a university, providing them with valuable real-life insights into potential career paths.
The programme not only positively impacts decision-making but also equips pupils to shape their futures for success. We would like to congratulate all pupils on completing the programme. Over the past 1.5 years, they have undergone a transformative journey and significantly enhanced their overall development. We hope they now feel “career-ready” for their next steps.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all the mentors for their dedication and perseverance in supporting our pupils throughout this journey, as well as for their willingness to invest their time and commitment in helping our pupils advance. We are also deeply grateful to the programme leader for continuous efforts in ensuring the smooth coordination of the entire process.
