An extremely impactful day!

As part of the Career Ready Programme, our Year 13 students, alongside peers from Grace Academy, had the privilege of visiting Allianz in Birmingham city centre. The day began with engaging introductions and an ice breaker session, encouraging students to develop their speaking and listening skills in a professional setting.

Students then took part in a thought-provoking Masterclass focused on Understanding the Concept of Brands — exploring how personal branding can positively shape their future success. This was followed by inspiring talks from professionals who shared their career journeys with passion and honesty, highlighting the importance of self-awareness, resilience, and skill development.

The visit concluded with a Networking Lunch, where students had the opportunity to speak one-on-one with professionals, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into the world of work.

It was a truly rewarding and inspiring experience. A heartfelt thank you goes to Rajesh, Samantha, and all the colleagues at Allianz who made this event possible. We also extend our sincere thanks to Caroline and the Career Ready team for their continued support in connecting our students with real-world opportunities.
