"One World" - What we do to celebrate diversity at Ark St Alban’s Academy
It was great to welcome so many of our parents on Wednesday morning as they joined us for our first Community Group of the academic year.
Our Community Group is an informal opportunity to hear about your child's life at school, get to know other parents and meet the teachers who play a part in your child's school experience.
The topic of this group was: "One World" - What we do to celebrate diversity at Ark St Alban’s Academy. It was lovely to share some of the excellent work of our pupils and reflect on the incredible celebrations our pupils coordinated for One World Day 2023.
Our Pupil Leader - Zainab G (9 Long Mynd) - Joined the group to share her own reflections from One World Day and talked to our parents about how exciting she found it to talk to people about their cultures, learn about different traditions, see different cultural clothing and taste different foods.
