Ofsted recently published their report having visited the school earlier this summer. The school was graded ‘Good’ in all areas and inspectors found that the improvements required after the last inspection in 2021 had been made.
Ofsted described the secondary school as a place where pupils and staff are proud of their school and how it respects and reflects the diversity of their community, and how ‘pupils are well prepared for the future’. The report commented that the school's high aspirations have led to positive outcomes across all year groups and the report highlighted the quality of the extracurricular activities offered by the school.
As before, the report also provides us with guidance for further improvements. These will direct our focus in the months ahead as we seek to raise our expectations further of pupils’ participation and effort in lessons and as we seek to increase the extent to which pupils are kind to one another.
