Last week we celebrated GCSE results day with Year 11 pupils and their families.
There were a number of remarkable success stories. Our most highly attaining pupils were Aleesa, Fathia and Ahlam (all with an average grade above 8). Our pupils who made the most progress were Manal Elkhair, Marij and Fathia (all achieving at least three grades higher than their expected GCSE grade).
We are very proud of all of our pupils who completed their GCSE journey last week and we are excited to welcome a huge number of them into our sixth form to begin Year 12 next week. There will also be a large cohort of high achieving young people starting with us next week who have chosen to join our school for sixth form having previously studied at other local schools.
Remember that school begins next Wednesday for pupils in Year 7 and Year 12, with pupils in all other year groups getting starting the following day, next Thursday.
