Our Year 12 students recently attended an inspiring assembly delivered by representatives from EY (Ernst & Young), one of the world's leading professional services firms.

The session introduced students to EY Smart Futures, a development programme designed to help young people build confidence, develop employability skills, and gain valuable insight into the world of work. Students learned about the range of opportunities available through the programme, including skills workshops, mentoring, networking opportunities, and guidance on future career pathways.

In addition to Smart Futures, EY also highlighted several other programmes and opportunities available to young people, including work experience, insight events, and pathways into apprenticeships and higher education. The assembly provided students with a greater understanding of the wide variety of careers available within business, finance, technology, consulting, and professional services.

Students were encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities to develop their skills, expand their networks, and gain experiences that will support their future education and career ambitions.

We would like to thank Parvin from EY for taking the time to share their expertise and inspire our students to consider the exciting opportunities available to them as they plan their next steps beyond sixth form. We would also like to thank our student Abdi, who was a previous participant of the programme, and shared his account of his experience.
