Open Evening

We are looking forward to welcoming families seeking a place in Year 7 at Ark St Alban’s Academy in September 2026. Our school has recently celebrated an excellent set of exam results in both Year 11 and Year 13, and our school continues to be one of the most popular with families in the city.

In Year 11 this summer almost three quarters of our pupils achieved a minimum of grade 4 in English and Maths, and over half achieved a grade 5 or better. This means that our school performed well above the national average in both measures. Many pupils also secured the grades that they needed to secure places on competitive Level 3 courses, including BTECs and A-Levels at Sixth Form and at college.

In Year 13 this summer our sixth form students achieved brilliantly. Pupils gained places at elite universities including Oxford, Warwick, Queen Mary and the University of Birmingham and pupils continued our recent track record of supporting pupils to securing places on medicine courses every year. In Year 13 this summer, 86% of pupils secured a minimum of three 3Cs or higher and almost two-thirds of the cohort achieved a minimum of 3Bs. Again, this means that our school performed well above the national average in both measures.

Our school has remained incredibly popular with local families with around 500 applications every year for just 120 places. We pride ourselves on being a small school with gets to know the children we serve and their families well. All families interested in applying for a place in Year 7 at Ark St Alban’s Academy in September 2026 are strongly encouraged to attend our open evening.

There is no need to sign-up in advance. Families are welcome to arrive at 4pm on Wednesday 24th September.

The application process for places in Year 7 is already open.  Information on how you can apply for year 7 places can be found here.
