Our approach
The PE curriculum introduces pupils to a range of sports with a focus on Leadership, allowing pupils to develop the key skills/qualities required in being a successful leader. These include communication, teamwork, problem solving, self-belief and self-management. The curriculum aims to:
- increase and sustain participation
- improve health, wellbeing and increase fitness levels including the prevention and reduction of childhood obesity.
- develop leadership skills/ qualities and key character skills
- develop mastery and excellence through increased competition and consistently high- quality teaching and learning
